Bina Foundation is also involved in charitable works and activities. The Foundation visits communities and identified centres for people with special needs with the hope of alleviating their hard living conditions and bringing smiles to their faces while offering moral support. The Foundation has visited numerous centres including leprosy settlements, centre for the disabled, motherless babies homes, orphanages for HIV/AIDS orphans and vulnerable children, elderly homes, and support groups for people living with HIV/AIDS. They are provided with psychological and emotional support; food, drinks, clothes, educational materials, toiletries, medications, monetary donation, and medical devices to help with their physical disabilities. The foundation creates an enabling environment to discourage the stigmatization and superstition associated with disability. Through all these, it hopes to reduce their pain and suffering while making a positive impact in their lives.
